Setting Up Your Account to Sell (Set-up to Sell Wizard)

Setting Up Your Account to Sell (Set-up to Sell Wizard)

The Set-up to Sell wizard is the three-step flow that turns a basic provider account into one that can sell registrations on Enrichment.kids. You'll set your organization's customer-facing details, connect your bank for payouts, and subscribe to Pro Plan. Once all three steps are complete, your organization is Featured and you can start creating listings to sell.

Where to find it

The wizard lives at the path that starts /p/wizard/organization/ on your provider account. You'll be sent there automatically from any of these places:
  • The listings dashboard, when you have no listings yet (look for the "Sell with Enrichment.kids" card)
  • The user menu in the top-right, under "Sell with Enrichment.kids"
  • The Billing page, when you don't yet have a Pro Plan subscription
  • The listing setup wizard, if you toggle "Sell with Enrichment.kids" on for a listing before your organization is set up
You can leave the wizard at any point and come back. It opens at the first step you haven't finished.

Step 1: Organization Details

This step captures what families will see at checkout and the safety attestations Enrichment.kids requires of every selling provider.
You'll provide:
  • Organization name, description, public website, support phone, and support email -- these show up on listings and customer receipts
  • A logo -- required. The wizard won't let you advance without one.
  • An EIN (optional) -- if you provide it, it shows on customer receipts. Do not put a Social Security number here.
  • Your name and title as the point of contact
  • Three yes/no safety attestations -- staff first aid and CPR, background checks on staff with child contact, valid liability insurance
  • Acceptance of the Terms of Service, Provider Agreement, and Privacy Policy
When you save, this step is marked complete and the wizard advances to Payout Method.

Step 2: Payout Method

This step is where you complete identity verification and connect the bank account where your earnings will land. Clicking the connect button in this step opens a panel on the right side of the screen with the secure onboarding form. You'll provide:
  • Business or sole-proprietor details (legal name, address, tax ID)
  • The person ultimately responsible for the account (this may be you)
  • The bank account for your payouts
When you finish the form and close the panel, the step is marked complete and the wizard advances to Subscription.
If the verification comes back needing more information -- this happens occasionally -- the step shows as complete but you'll see an "Edit Information" affordance. Click it to reopen the panel and finish what's needed.

Step 3: Subscription

This step subscribes you to Pro Plan, which is the subscription that gives your organization Featured status. Pro Plan costs $85 per month. You can also enter a discount code on this step -- if it's valid, the price updates live to reflect the discount.
You'll also enter the payment method (card or bank) that will be charged for the subscription.
If you have a credit balance on your account from a refund or a referral reward, it's applied to the amount due today before your card is charged.

When you're done

After you submit the subscription, your organization flips to Featured and the wizard sends you to the listings dashboard. From here you can:
  • Create a new listing that sells through Enrichment.kids (the listing setup wizard walks you through this)
  • Flip an existing directory-only listing to "Sell with Enrichment.kids"
  • Set up policies, registration forms, and discount codes

Editing Information

You can edit your information any time from your Org Settings page. From there you can:
  • Edit Organization Details at any time -- name, description, contacts, attestations
  • Edit Payout Settings by reopening the Payout Method step's right-side panel. Use this to change your bank account, update tax info, or respond if more information is requested.
Subscription changes -- cancelling Pro Plan, switching the payment method on file -- live on the Billing page, not in this wizard. See Pro Plan: Subscription Benefits, Billing, and Cancellation.

FAQ

Do I have to finish all three steps in one sitting?
No. The wizard saves your progress at each step and opens at the first incomplete step when you return.
Can I start creating listings before I finish the wizard?
You can create a basic directory listing without finishing the wizard, but you can't sell registrations on a listing until your organization is Featured -- which requires all three wizard steps complete. If you toggle "Sell with Enrichment.kids" on for a listing before then, you'll be sent back to the wizard to finish.
What if I already have an account with the payment processor for my own business?
The account created in the Payout Method step is specific to your Enrichment.kids transactions. It doesn't replace or interfere with any payment account you use elsewhere.
Why does the wizard ask for safety attestations?
The three attestations -- staff first aid and CPR, background checks for staff with child contact, valid liability insurance -- are baseline requirements for every Featured provider. They're surfaced to families on your listings so parents can see them before they register.
Do I have to provide an EIN?
No. EIN is optional. If you provide one, it shows on customer receipts, which some bookkeeping systems prefer. Sole proprietors without an EIN can leave it blank. Do not put a Social Security number in the EIN field.
I completed the payout step in another tab and the wizard still shows it as incomplete. What do I do?
Reload the wizard page. The status is read from the server when the page loads, so a completion that happens in a separate tab won't reflect until you refresh.
I finished the wizard but my account is still not showing as Featured. Why?
The most common cause is the subscription step succeeded but the page didn't refresh. Reload the dashboard. If the issue persists, contact support.
