The Enrichment.kids connector lets you search for children's enrichment activities — summer camps, after-school classes, preschools, and music and art studios — directly inside a Claude conversation. Find programs by location, age, and dates, see what's actually available right now, and follow a registration link straight to checkout.

This article walks through what the connector does, how to add it to Claude, and how to get help if something isn't working.

What you can do with the connector

Once connected, you can ask Claude to:

• Search for activities by location, child's age, dates, and activity type
• Check real-time availability for a specific session before you commit to anything
• Look up a provider you've heard about — see their full profile and active listings
• Get full details for any program, including pricing, schedule, location, and what's included

Registration always happens on Enrichment.kids — Claude will give you a direct link to the activity's page, where you can sign up the same way you would on the site.

How to add the connector to Claude

The connector is a custom connector, which means you add it once and then it's available in any Claude conversation.

1. Open Claude on the web (claude.ai), in the desktop app, or on mobile
2. Go to Settings → Connectors
3. Click Add custom connector
4. Enter a name — we suggest Enrichment.kids
5. Paste this URL into the Server URL field: https://mcp.enrichment.kids/mcp
6. Click Add

That's it. The connector doesn't require a login or an Enrichment.kids account — searches are anonymous. Once added, you can start a new conversation and ask Claude about activities for your kids.

Example prompts to try

Here are some prompts that show the range of what the connector can do:

• "Find a week of summer camp for my 8-year-old in Petaluma the week of July 20th. He likes art and being outside."
• "What music classes are available for my 6-year-old on Tuesdays after 3pm near 94952?"
• "A friend recommended Coyote Coast Adventure Camp. Tell me more about them and show me what they have available this summer."
• "Spring break starts Monday and I need somewhere for my 7-year-old. What still has open spots in the Bay Area?"
• "Compare three art camps for kids ages 6-8 in San Francisco that run in June."

You don't need to phrase things in any special way — talk to Claude the way you'd talk to a friend who happens to know every camp and class in your area.

Troubleshooting

"I'm not getting any results."

The most common reason is searching outside our current coverage area. Try a search in California or the Portland metro to confirm the connector is working, then check our coverage map on the Enrichment.kids homepage.

If you're searching inside the coverage area and still seeing nothing, your filters may be too narrow. Try broadening the date range or removing one filter at a time.

"The connector isn't responding."

First, confirm the connector is enabled in your Claude settings (Settings → Connectors → make sure Enrichment.kids is toggled on for this conversation). If it is and Claude still isn't using it, try starting a fresh conversation — connectors are sometimes scoped per-conversation.

If the connector still isn't responding, our service may be experiencing a temporary issue. Contact support and we'll investigate.

"Claude gave me a registration link that didn't work."

Activity availability changes throughout the day, so it's possible a session sold out between Claude's search and the moment you clicked through. Refresh the page or search again — Claude will pick up the latest availability.

If a link is consistently broken, please email us with the activity name and we'll investigate.

"I want to update or cancel a registration I made."

The connector is search-and-discovery only — it doesn't manage existing registrations. To update or cancel, log into your Enrichment.kids account directly or contact the provider you registered with.

Privacy and data

The connector only sees the search criteria you ask Claude about (location, age, dates, activity type). It doesn't have access to your Claude account, your messages outside the search, or any personal information beyond what you explicitly include in your prompt. We don't require an Enrichment.kids account to use the connector.
