The Enrichment.kids connector lets you search for children's activities -- summer camps, after-school classes, preschools, and music and art studios -- inside a conversation with Claude. Ask in plain words, see what's open right now, and follow a link to sign up on Enrichment.kids. This article covers what it can do, how to add it, what to ask, and what to do if something isn't working.

What you can do with the connector

Once it's connected, you can ask Claude to:

• Search for activities by location, your child's age, dates, and type of activity.
• Check availability for a specific session: what's open, what's waitlist only, and how many spots are left.
• Look up a provider you've heard about and see their profile and current listings.
• Get full details for a program, including price, schedule, location, and what's included.
• Compare options side by side, such as half-day vs. full-day or outdoor vs. studio.

Registration always happens on Enrichment.kids. Claude gives you a direct link to the activity's page, and you sign up there the same way you would on the site.

How to add the connector to Claude

You add the connector once, and then it's available in your Claude conversations on the web (claude.ai), in the desktop app, and on mobile.

1. Open Claude.
2. Go to Settings → Connectors.
3. Click Add custom connector.
4. Enter a name. We suggest Enrichment.kids.
5. Paste this URL into the Server URL field: https://mcp.enrichment.kids/mcp
6. Click Add.

The connector doesn't need a login or an Enrichment.kids account. Searches are anonymous. Start a new conversation and ask Claude about activities for your kids.

You don't need special wording. Talk to Claude the way you'd talk to a friend who knows the programs in your area.

Find a camp week or a weekly class

"Find a week of summer camp for my 8-year-old in Petaluma the week of July 20th. He likes art and being outside."

"What music classes are available for my 6-year-old on Tuesdays after 3pm near 94952?"

Claude looks for programs that fit your child's age, the days you need, and the interests you mention. You get a short list with prices, schedules, what's still open, and registration links. If the options differ in an important way, Claude says so and tells you which fits your request better.

Look up a provider

"A friend recommended Camp Covey. Tell me about them and what they have available this summer."

Claude pulls up the provider's profile -- location, approach, age groups, daily schedule -- and shows which sessions are open, which are waitlist only, and how many spots are left.

Check availability

"Which sessions of Camp Covey still have open spots? My 7-year-old is free the week of July 13th."

"Spring break starts Monday and I need somewhere for my 7-year-old. What still has open spots in the Bay Area?"

Claude checks each session and tells you what your child can sign up for on those dates. If the week you wanted is full, it says so and suggests nearby weeks that have room.

Compare options side by side

"Compare three art camps for kids ages 6-8 in Sonoma County that run in June."

Claude lays out what makes each one different -- half-day vs. full-day, outdoor vs. studio, finished projects vs. process art -- and ends with which one fits which priority.

Explore a new city

"I'm in Indianapolis -- what enrichment options exist for my 9-year-old?"

Moving, planning a summer visit with grandparents, or just curious? Claude gives you an overview by type -- arts, sports, performing arts, academic, specialized programs -- with a short note on each, even where you don't know any providers yet.

Tips for better results

Claude works with whatever you give it and asks for more if it needs to. These details help most:

• Your child's age. Age decides which sessions your child can join. Without it, results are less focused.
• A location. A city, ZIP code, or neighborhood. "Near me" doesn't work, because Claude can't see where you are.
• Dates, if you have them. "Summer 2026," "the week of July 20," or "Tuesdays after school" all work.
• What your child likes. "Art and being outside," "team sports," or "needs reading support." Claude uses this to narrow and rank the results.

What the connector doesn't do

• It doesn't book for you. Claude gives you the link, and you complete sign-up on Enrichment.kids.
• It doesn't manage existing registrations. To update or cancel, sign in to your Enrichment.kids account or contact the provider you registered with.

Where it works

Enrichment.kids has listings in many states. The most programs, and the most providers taking registrations on Enrichment.kids, are in the San Francisco Bay Area and the Portland, Oregon metro. If Claude can't find what you asked for, it tells you what's available in related categories or nearby cities. If you'd like more programs in your area, tell us which city, or suggest that a favorite local provider list with us.

Troubleshooting

"I'm not getting any results."

The most common reason is searching where we don't have listings yet. Try a search in the Bay Area or the Portland metro to confirm the connector is working, then check the Browse By Location page. If you're in a covered area and still see nothing, your request may be too narrow. Widen the dates or drop one detail at a time.

"The connector isn't responding."

Make sure the connector is turned on: Settings → Connectors, and check that Enrichment.kids is toggled on for this conversation. If it is and Claude still isn't using it, start a fresh conversation, since connectors are sometimes set per conversation. If it still doesn't respond, our service may be having a temporary issue. Contact support and we'll look into it.

"Claude gave me a registration link that didn't work."

Availability changes through the day, so a session may have filled between Claude's search and your click. Refresh the page or ask Claude to search again for the latest availability. If a link is broken every time, email us the activity name and we'll look into it.

"I want to update or cancel a registration I made."

The connector only searches. To update or cancel, sign in to your Enrichment.kids account or contact the provider you registered with.

Privacy and data

The connector only sees the search details you ask Claude about, such as location, age, dates, and activity type. It has no access to your Claude account, your other messages, or any personal information beyond what you include in your request. You don't need an Enrichment.kids account to use it.
